Spontaneous Combustion
Estes Park 1997 - Star Visions Conference

There was an amazing set of circumstances that led to our attending the Star Visions conference up in Estes Park, Colorado, but that will have to be another story. However, one of the events that happened while we were doing our healing work will always be on our top 10 list of "unusual", even by our standards.

There were hundreds of people who were attending this conference, many with conflicting energy and opinions, and you could feel it in the air. Doc is very sensitive to different energies, and periodically smudges his surroundings to cleanse the area. As he was walking through the hallways adjourning the healing room, a very tall guy who introduced himself as Steve approached him. Doc and Steve got acquainted as Steve followed Doc while he smudged. They returned to the healing room where Doc explained to Steve the kind of healing that he does. Steve then told him an interesting story.

On the way to the conference with his girlfriend and her friend, Mary, the three had stopped to get something to eat. They were talking at the table about the things they expected to see and do at the conference, when Mary’s hair in front burst into flames. Now Steve relayed this story in a very laid-back kind of attitude. However, Doc was very surprised. "Was it the candle," Doc asked? Steve went on the tell him that it just happened with no apparent heat source. They were sitting there and her hair just went up. "Well, we put her out, and she's OK," he said. Steve now had Doc's attention. "Your friend has a problem and I will help her with it, bring her in as soon as possible. I usually charge for my time, but I will work on her for free." Steve thanked Doc and said he would see him first thing in the morning.

Doc has told me of the many "unusual" experiences he has had over the years, most turning out to have some sort of explanation. He had heard of spontaneous combustion all his life and had not had the opportunity to meet or work with anyone who has had a connection with these phenomena. Mary arrived the next day about 1:00 p.m. and the healing room was crowded. Our five friends who had come for the day, and myself, we standing around the healing area visiting. Doc doesn't usually have a problem working in a tight area, but this time was different. He asked if we all could go out in the hallway while he worked, which of course we did. He came out about 10 minutes later and relayed the story to us. Mary had lain down on the table while we were all standing there, and Doc had put his hand on her neck. As soon as he had done that, her neck had burnt his hand. He showed me the red mark that was still there. That is when he asked us to go out in the hall. He proceeded to tell me that when he used his regular techniques, her body got even hotter. He said he was concerned that she was going to burst into flames on the table. At this point, he asked his guidance for help and the voice that has identified itself before as Aton to him, came through. Doc was told to put his hands on the top of her head, which he did.

Then Aton's voice came through Doc and said, "BE GONE NOW!" Doc then saw a being come from Mary and he contained it. This is part of the same technique that we use for ghosts. When Doc tried to send it to the light, it would not go. Then he was "told" to send it to the Sun, that it was a fire being. When he did this, the being went gladly. Doc finished with Mary's healing and she went on her way. That is when he joined us in the hall and told me what had just happened. This was quite an experience for Doc, and it is one of the few times I have seen him stunned. Upon entering the breakfast area the next day, Doc saw Mary and her friends sitting at a table eating. He asked if he could join them, he need to ask her some questions. Mary said that she felt great. She also expressed that she had been almost void of love all her life and the feelings she was experiencing were extraordinary. Doc asked her when this had started in her life. She told him that her Mom said that on her fourth birthday she went to bed as one person and awoke as another. Her whole life had been one of depression and emotional pain. Doc told her what he saw and asked her what her Father did for a living. "My Father was stationed in Germany at the time working for the Government. His job was to work on the UFO recovery team." I guess he didn't know he had brought home a being that found a perfect host in a four-year-old child.
