David's Healing
Oshkosh, Wisconsin -1996

There are so many people that come and go in our lives, it's hard to remember the details of the work we do, and it would be too much if we tried. Once in a while we have an opportunity to really touch some one's life and the details remain as if it were yesterday.

One of these times was at the Air Show in Oshkosh, WI. in 1996. For the past few years we had helped out Ralph who demonstrated a variety of items at the show. This particular show will bring in close to half a million people. We were there for 10 days and the days were long and usually hot. At the end of each day things would finally quiet down and we would hang around the booth to relax and catch up on the day's events. It was on the third day, after a busy afternoon, when the subject came up about the healing work we do. Ralph's friend Mike was interested in a demonstration and asked Doc to read his energy field. Mike had some lower back pain that he wanted help with. Off to the side of the booth where we were at was a grassy area, and this is where they were headed.

It is not unusual for a crowd to gather when people notice something "different" is going on, and this time was no exception. When Doc was done, Mike was surprised with the results and was expressing his delight. A young man who introduced himself as David that had been watching Mike's healing, now stepped up to Doc. In a faltering voice that was hard to understand, he asked what Doc had been doing. Doc explained that he worked with Energy Healing and was able to read the body, see the blockages, and correct the patterns, so that the body will heal itself. David asked Doc if he would work on him.

The way Doc reads the body is to scan the energy field or the etheric field with his hands. Usually, he starts at the head and works his way down, doing a full scan first before returning to any particular area that requires work. He had only gotten as far as David's temple and stopped. I saw him read the pattern, then again, and then a third time. Whatever he was seeing or feeling obviously had caught his attention. He spent quite a few minutes on his head and I could tell that he was in deep concentration. He would say a few words quietly to David and continue to work.

His girlfriend, who stood watching the whole process nearby, accompanied David. I could tell she was moved emotionally herself, as were we all. Doc continued through the whole body and ended by balancing his chakras. By this time David was in a very emotional state and I could tell that he had a profound experience. He and his girlfriend both gave Doc a hug and left. When Doc came back to where I was sitting, he could barely talk himself. He told me he didn't know what had injured David, but that he could feel his pain and emotion over it. He said he "saw" that his temple had taken a sharp hit and had "messed" up the circuitry.

The next afternoon David came by to see Doc and they went for a long walk. David explained to Doc that he had gotten seriously hurt when a golf ball had hit him in the head, resulting in a coma that had lasted for days. When he awoke, he had lost most of his motor skills, memory, speech, and some of his bodily functions. He had been a semi-professional golfer, and he was heartbroken that he may never get to play golf as he did before. He went on to say that yesterday he could barely talk, not even enough to tell Doc his story. After the healing there had been so much improvement that he had to come back and let him know. There was something special that had happened between Doc and David, and more was yet to come.

The next evening a new and improved David visited us. Doc and I were pleased at the continuing recovery. David was with his father, who had come especially to see Doc. "Thank you for giving me back my son", he said over and over. "I don't know how you did it, but I am so grateful." Doc explained that God is the healer, and he is the instrument, and was glad he was there to help. David spoke of how he felt and his speech was noticeably clearer than the day before. He said he was getting memory back and felt that Doc was an Angel. I remember the look on his face and the appreciation in his voice when he talked of the gift Doc had given him, the gift of a better, healthier future. We saw David a year later and he was totally healed. He thanked us again for our work and said he was playing golf as good or better then before.

The body knows what the perfect pattern is for optimum health. Sometimes that pattern gets a little "snagged" and needs to be reminded how it really is. When this is done, healing occurs, and so it was with David. P.S. in 1997 we returned to Oshkosh and David looked us up and informed us he was going to massage school and working with healing.
