Carl's Healing
Nevada -1997
By Carol Howard
Doc and I had the opportunity to spend a week in Laughlin, Nevada in the Spring of 1997. While we were there, we
met a man name Carl who works for one of the major Casinos in Laughlin as a Catering Manager. He was referred to us
by someone we had done some healing work on who told him we could probably help him also. Carl had a pinched nerve
in the lower back that caused him acute pain and many times immobility. This nerve runs through the hip and leg and
can make it extremely difficult to walk. This was the state that Carl was in when we met him. He told us he had
been to see numerous Doctors and they could not find the cause of his problem. Instead of getting better, the pain
was getting worse all the time.
Carl made an appointment to see Doc and came up to our room for his healing. We could tell that Carl had trouble
even laying on the table. Doc scanned his energy pattern and started to work with him. It did not take long to
determine the cause of his pain, and this cause was going to be difficult to explain to Carl.
Sometimes we work with people who have certain religious beliefs, and we try very hard not to step out of comfort
zone. At the same time, we feel it is important to be honest and let them know what it is that we have discovered.
The best way we have found to do this is to be honest, and keep it as simple as possible. Carl had an attachment.
This attachment had been with him for many lifetimes. It is basically a ghost that attaches itself to the soul
personality, and when the soul incarnates, the ghost returns again. We usually only see this when there has been
something such as a murder or betrayal committed against the attachment and they haven't been able to let it go and
return to the light. This attachment was stabbing Carl in the lower back and Doc could actually see the blade.
Doc then performed the process he uses to contain and return the attachment to the light, and "pulled" the blade
from Carl's back. We told Carl about what we had seen and the process that had been used, and that we understood
that this all must appear a "little out there" to him, to which he agreed. He was starting to feel better right
away and said he didn't care, he just wanted to be able to walk without pain. The next day when we saw Carl, he was
doing great. He still had a little pain left and Doc agreed to work on him again that afternoon. This was for some
extra energy work to speed up the healing process. By the end of the week Carl was out of pain and walking perfect.
He was extremely happy with his healing and referred many of his family members to us. We haven't gone back to
Laughlin since then, but we hope to go back real soon and catch up with some of the wonderful people we met
there.
